the weekend update...
Sorry I haven't updated sooner but it was a very busy weekend.
Since my last post the mator has attempted to remove chief Herron and Install Jeff Branch (officially on the fraternal order of Police FOES list http://www.foplodge15.org/foes.htm) as the new chief. This is the man who is supposed to bring harmony and improve the morale of the Overland Police department. A man who is on the FOES list of th police union?
Next up...
My foot in his mouth award goes to
Michael Schaller, a lawyer representing Purzner, who said any decision by Nixon (the attorney general for the state) wouldn't be final, but just "a decision by another lawyer."
Way to make friends and influence people Mike. Insult the man reviewing your case. And this is the finest legal mind our mayor could hire?
And then teh issue of our incoming interim emergency city attorney

Pleban is representing Mark Brown in his recall from St Charles city council. Brown if you remember used to be a shit disturbing alderman in overland who ran for mayor and threatened to leave Overland if he lost his bid for mayor. He lost I am happy to say but he never did carry through on his threat totally. he is still trying to influence the city.
But as it stands and as of the last thing I heard Herman and Herron are still in office and Purzner is still stuttering and stammering her way through press interviews.

According to KMOV, Ann left a letter on Jim's door that suspended him for 60 days? Then, in the middle of the night, they changed the locks at the OPD.
Why was he suspended?
Why the middle of the night tactics?
And, once the 60-days suspension is over, is Jim chief again?
