I was checking out ORTian propaganda. I couldn't get Mr. Wanda's site to come up. I then realized I was typing in richardkMode.com . Silly me!

Once I rectified my mistake, I couldn't miss the following headline “Simply saying what I mean...
...and meaning what I say!”

He should add "and never shutting up about it during council meetings."

I was just looking through some old posts on the blog. It's like a walk down memory lane.

Sybil Musical Goat, I thought I gave you this spelling lesson months ago, but I realize you have a comprehension problem. So I will fill you in once again out of the kindness of my dumb ole heart. And you claim to be a college grad? Did you go to the same one Purzner RN went to?

Music Goat Quote ".(nit wit that might be spelt wrong)." END of Music Goat Quote

The word "spelt" means wheat, you should have said (nit wit that might be spelled wrong)"

sigh.....

We should all thank Wanda, she's the best thing that could have happened. Because of her behavior she is racking up votes fast against hubby & the mayor.

Heard the other day they were at it again putting signs in yards without asking. To which the property owners promptly removed them.

Great job Suzyjax

Can anyone (C3Missle I am looking at you) explain the rules governing the placement of yard signs? I have heard that candidates can place yard signs anywhere they want so long as it is in the city easement. Is this correct? Because there are several corners surrounding my house where the ORT has placed signs on all four corners and there is even a yard that has a Oakes for ward three sign and a retain Purzner sign. So can the ORT just place signs at will?

GOOD QUESTION, John Doe. I have seen that very same scenario. The house lawn has Michael Oakes, and on the corner of the strip of grass near the curb will be a Peggy Keller sign and the retain Ann Purzner sign. What gives?

john doe,

I am not an expert on this and I could be in violation also. All I know is I get permission from the owners of the property prior to sign placement. I have asked a few business owners on Woodson and they have supported me, but there is not a lot of room to place a sign close enough to be seen as people go buy. Remember a saying a wise man once told me,
" SIGNS DON"T VOTE"

Signs don't vote but if you see hundreds supporting the opposite side, you might get discouraged and not bother to vote on election day.

I would check back with any resident who has opposing signs in their yard to see if they approved both. If not, they should remove the unapproved one.
