Lawsuit counter

Hey just for fun let's keep a running tally of how many lawsuits and possible charges Queen Ann Poser is racking up...
I'll start us off...
1. Sunshine law... From the meeting of the ORT where they illegally drafted the cease and desist letter to the East west gateway governing commision.
2. Mail fraud... From the fraudulent postcards her campaign sent out claiming to be from Kientzel...
3. Wrongful discharge of chief Herron

I know there are more out there but I didn't want to be greedy and have all the fun...

pickles is now claiming to own property in Overland. Or, is it that she is being coy with her "may or may not own property"? However, we are not stupid and property records are public. There is no Donna Dill as owner of record anywhere in St. Louis County, let alone Overland.

I've thought for a while that Piss Pot Pete and Spydog were one in the same. They have the same writing "style" and tone. I had to laugh when Spydog admonished Pete for his behavior and Pete said he fell of his meds. I was thinking "if you are talking to yourself via a chatboard, are your meds working"

Oh no! Sweetpickles is now claiming she is looking to buy property in Overland. Is this some scam so she can either take Ann's seat on the council or run in another ward?

Let us forget the recount and start the recall. I hope to see you all at Monday's meeting. I will be giving an award for best sign.

I will have either:
Nurse Practitioners for Purzner.
or
Purzner for County Council.

Any thoughts.

Having lived in "the OC" for thrity some-odd some-even years, I am no idealist. I also don't know any of you fine folks and could be quite out of turn. But at the risk of being a pollyanna, I offer the following thoughts.

The residents of Overland have a unique opportunity to fundamentally change our city's administration. I have never witness the degree of asymmetric "political attentiveness" that we are now witnessing among our residents.

I have not paid much attention to Overland politics over recent years. But I believe Mark Brown's Gang have made a critical mistake in pushing Purzner into office.

As a result, the blatant corruption of this posse has now been laid bare for the world to see. Two dynamics are now at play which may hold the seeds of their final downfall.

1. By trying to "re-interpret", ignore and circumvent the City's institutions, they are unwittingly activating people who were on the sidelines to get into the game. The only way someone could agree with Queen Ann is if they are either disingenuous or they are just ignorant. She has maxxed-out her support because she already gets 100% of the ingnorant and corrupt.

If we organize our efforts, I know there could be enough support to over-run Queen Ann and thereby throw out the Mark Brown Posse; maybe forever.

The second, and possibly more persoanlly damaging, mistake is Queen Ann's refusal to submit to the county prosecutor's opinion. Although not having the same force of law as a court order, McCullogh is not just another lawyer with another opinion.

For first time that I know of, the Mark Brown Posse through Ann have pissed off and ignored someone with the power to investigate, subpoena, assemble grand jury, indict, prosecute and convict.

You think Brown has the ability to ruin lives........

"You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Bob, da do da do..."
I can only hope that Mr. McCulloch has had enough of these people and decides to put an end to it by investigating their twenty-year history of bad faith, harrassment and outright corruption.

Viva la Myers! The revolution will not be televised.

Gravy.

Coupla things:
1) Guy and John: What is the point of the IP Tracking? Doesn't he have our e-mail addys from when we signed up for a userid? It seems like a lot of work, when a terse e-mail might work for anyone he felt was "out of line.".

2) More on that. Didn't Fetch say that when he started the board that he wanted somewhere that people could voice their opinion without feeling the city would "hunt them down"? Well, at least that is what he told me face-to-face.

3) You're that "Crane Durham"? I didn't know you hailed from "the OC", which might make me like you a bit. Never listened to your radio show, but I do throw stuff at the TV during Donnybrook when you are on. :) I'm more of a Ray Hartman type of girl. :)

You may have me confused with Edward Crane "Empty Suit" Durham. I am a long lost cousin, Gravy Train Durham.

If we are worried about persecution from these "ham and eggers", what must it have been like to be an Iraqi? Makes ya wonder.

How many people can they harrass? I am not being rhetorical but at what point are they overwelmed by numbers?

I am two steps removed from knowing Circuit Judge Gary M. Gaertner Jr. If it is any consolation, he is not a man in which to trifle.

Thanks for laying out the various institutional options. I agree that the costs of recall are prohibitive and unrealistic for anyone who has anything better to do. But at some point the costs of the status quo may become worth organizing.

Here is where I hang my hat.

In his seminal work, "The Semisovereign People " (1960), E.E. Schattschneider discussed how issues "scope of conflict" could be used as a method of social change. To quote Schattschneider:

"There is nothing intrinsically good or bad about any given scope of
conflict. Whether a large conflict is better than a small conflict depends on what the conflict is about and what people want to accomplish. A change of scope makes possible a new pattern of competition, a new balance of forces and a new result,."

My hope is that Ann Brown's get-fresh-crew will continue to push the State/County officials thereby changing the scope of conflict from what is an institutional issue to a personal issue. I am directing my humble efforts towards our County officials.

She is costing us already:

Commute from Forestell to Overland=80 miles round trip. Assuming only five work day trips 400 miles a week. Assuming the used Mercury Grand Marqui gets 15 miles per gallon, the weekly amount of gas used would be approximalte 26.67 gallons. Average price of gas over past three weeks $2.80 resulting in a minimal weekly fuel cost of $74.67. During the course of past three weeks we can assume 15 round trips giving a total minimal fuel cost of Chief Wiggam equaling $224.01. What other compensation has this grifter in blue received?

Two Cruisers showing-up at Wiggams house to retrieve the cop toys and other OPD booty he procurred. ....Priceless.
