As the Court Room Turns

For those who haven't heard from the local grapevine or today's Post-Dispatch story, the preliminary hearing was won by those suing the mayor. Overland Sailor has a detailed account of what happened during Wednesday's proceedings.

It is new heights of disingenous behavior when the mayor's defense is that only the council can change where the meetings are held. This, after she vetoed such a council resolution at the August 14 meeting! Perhaps she is just opening up the door to sue Owensby, Knode and Sellers who voted against the resolution to move the meetings? Either way, it looks as if the Queen does not have much of leg to stand on.

I think this is just the begining of court room visits for Purzner RN. I see now the ACLU is getting involved. Those people do not give up or let up until issues are resolved. Purzner RN and her 3 blind mice better wake up and smell the law suits.

True, NGIT, Purzner et al have offended so many citizens it's pathetic. The 'special' meeting on Monday is unexpected, so it's anybody's guess how few people realize it will happen until it's over.

In Purzner's mind, municipal law trumps state law. Duhhhh.
Rudman appears to be following Purzner's advise as to why meetings need to be held in City Hall.

I want some of those dreamy meds, so I can be in never never land too. Talk about escape from life, escape from reality. Magic wands? Magic man? Puppets?
Those are some good Hallucinogenics.
