Heres an update for Monday, 8/21/06.
Donna Dill, Ken Owensby, and Chief Herren testified on Monday.
During Councilman Coach Blowensme's testimoney, he admitted under
oath to being a liar and impersonating the mayor by sending an e-mail titled
"by order of the Mayor" although he is not the Mayor
Coach Kenny "pants on fire" Blowensme admitted under oath that Mayor Con had no
knowledge of the e-mail in which the Coach impersonates the Mayor.
We here on the editorial board are somewhat puzzled on why Mayror Con would have
the Queen of Carpet Bagging testify on her behalf. Exactly what in her elder-care,
concession stand background makes her an expert on anything
but bed-pans and bomb pops?
The trial resumes testimony today at 12:30 pm. BEEEEEEEEEEE THHHHHEEEEEERRRRRRREEEE!

The Case actually continues on Wednesday at 12:30PM. St. Louis County COurt House, 2nd floor Trial Room 35, Judge Sherry.
How very sad for Owenswig to want to be Ann RN. Now this sounds like a case for good ole Sigmund Frued.
As for Donna Dill, what the heck does she have to offer? Desperate people resort to desperate measures. Mr. Rudeman, has a cast of liars on his hands. That man won't know what hit his cheap suit. (K-Mart's blue light special, no doubt)
I could not believe he said that.
Talk about taking 1 for the team!!!
At least it's on the record.
c3missile,
I wonder if Owenswig was forced to fess up. Perhaps somebody traced the origin of the email to him. Unless he used Ann's very own computer. I don't know the particulars. Sailor may know.
How in the world would the Purzneristas consider Donna Dill a credible or viable witness?
Is she a flooring expert that we have previously not been made aware?
She talked about how some folks got up and left after the citizens comments?
1) That did not happen. A lot of people got up and took a break since the chief said it would be moment while they went and got a new sound system.
2) Once the proceedings resumed, there were more than 160 people still in attendance at the meeting.
The 160 is the key. Until you have less than 160 people attending on a consistent basis, then you need to have the meetings at the community center.
When there is more than 160 attending ANY part of the proceedings it neds to be held in the community center.
The concept behind the Sunshine Law is not hard to understand. It is not rocket science or even fractal geometry. One shouldn't even need a lawyer to interpret it properly. (No slight intended for any lawyers reading this statement.) However, until the ORTians come to their senses and make the right decisions on this and other issues, we will be bogged down in court.
OverlandSailor makes the best case on why Donna Dill is not a credible witness and is instead, a habitual liar.
Why would they put Dills on as a witness she is NOT a RESIDENT. I do not understand.
I admit I do not know enough about the law, never been in that position.
Other than being a friend of Purzners she has nothing to offer.
It's pretty sad when all Purzner and her Attorney, can muster up as some sort of witness, is Donna Dill. Is Donna going to present herself as an expert empty chair counter? Seriously, talk about clawing and scraping the bottom of the ORT barrel out of sheer desperation.
Purzner claims to have so many people (resident's of Overland) that back her up. Why don't they come to the meetings to support her? Why don't they go to the hearings to support her? Purzner in her very own words said to a channel 4 reporter that there were only about 10 people against her. Good grief. What a sad, sad state of affairs.
"Desperado"
Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you can't get
Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no younger
Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home
And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin'
Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Sweetpickles lies again !! I saw Knode's wife at the meeting taking pictures of the empty chairs, when people left the gym, to go outside for a bit, use the bathroom and walk around the CC, whilst they were fixing the sound system. Pickles did the same thing. Once the sound system came back on, people returned to their seats. Why didn't you take the pictures at the begining of the meeting? Or after the sound system was fixed. I'm quite sure the Judge is aware of these scam pictures. Why do these people insist on making fools of themselves?
Oh those 8x10 glossy pictures.
I don't want a pickle, just want to ride on my motorsickle.
Arlo Guthrie would be proud of those 8x10 glossy pictures. Lunch at Alice's anyone?
We walked in, sat down, Obie came in with the twenty seven eight-by-ten
colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back
of each one, sat down. Man came in said, "All rise." We all stood up,
and Obie stood up with the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy
pictures, and the judge walked in sat down with a seeing eye dog, and he
sat down, we sat down. Obie looked at the seeing eye dog, and then at the
twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows
and a paragraph on the back of each one, and looked at the seeing eye dog.
And then at twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles
and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one and began to cry,
'cause Obie came to the realization that it was a typical case of American
blind justice, and there wasn't nothing he could do about it, and the
judge wasn't going to look at the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy
pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each
one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us.
This makes me want to go have lunch at Alice's Restaurant !!!!
new girl in town,
I can not figure out why he did it, except to take the pressure off Ann.
