Comment of the Week winner

I knew this was a winner when I first stubbled, err, stumbled across it (sorry, stubble on the brain today). Congrats to Forty-Six and 2 for his post of the week winner:

You are right about Mayor Con and her previous engagement. Her decision has nothing to do with her fear of appearing in public, all the jeering and all. I forgot about Dirt Cheap's Annual End of Summer Smoke-Off is the same weekend as the fair. It wouldn't be a fag lovers fantasy without Mayor Con in the competition. Quite a stalwart that great Con. You can find her practicing at a dumpster or backdoor entrance near you almost year round. Puff Puff cheap cheap puff puff fun fun.. The Mayor is deeply committed to getting her lips on the butt end of tightly wound flaming fag and sucking on it like there is no tomorrow. Perfect form, every year…

..I am not sure if Sweaty will be competing this year in the Dirt Cheap Smoke-Off, she will probably be Mayor Con's smoke caddy.

Who needs spell checker when you have The Goat to crack the ruler?

So, I think I will take advantage of the service and ask for clarification of the following:

Is it Carol or Carole?
Is it Sparks or Sparkes?

It really is the eternal question of to E or not to E.

Netiquette says QUIT TYPING IN CAPS OR PEOPLE WILL THINK YOU ARE YELLING!

There is some irony in someone who doesn't type very well themselves (you know, in both upper and lower case), to rebuke others for their typos.

Goat,

This sentence needs punctuation. Please insert a comma, semicolon, period/another sentence.

IN READING SOME THREADS OF SOME VERY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE I WAS WONDERING IS IT:

Another example:
GoatQuote: "Why go some where your not really wanted, and for good reasons, I say she is doing the right thing by staying away."

Somewhere is one word. It's one of those fancy compound words. From what I have been told (by a 6 year old), they are teaching the compound word concept in kindergarten at Iveland.

I think you meant you're, as in you are. You used your.

Again, another run-on sentence that makes little sense. Is it for good reason that she is not wanted? Or, is she not attending for good reason? Or, is it for good reason that you say she is doing the right thing by staying away? Your sentence, as structured, is not clear.

======

We could go on and on. The point is silly and we could go back and forth all day.
When it comes down to it, the only debate you can give forty-six & 2 is on such silliness.

The truth is that he has more substance in one sentence of his posts than you have had in your combined history on Overlandchat (whether posting under The Goat, MusicNote, BlueEyes or Fu Manchu))!!
