I don't want to sell the Wild Acres Property
The Queen has posted another missive to her website. In this missive she details all of the problems with the seminary property at Wild Acres. She even goes as far as to call it a "White Elephant." She then states that any rumors to her wanting to sell this property are untrue. (I guess this anti-seminary propaganda is just to make the city look foolish?)
Another topic of The Queen's statement is her disappointment that the city council meeting didn't adjourn to an Executive Session.
1. Who adjourns to Executive Session in the middle of the meeting? That tactic is very questionable.
2. Executive Session isn't the time for a "Meet and Greet" with prospective developers. There is no reason such business should be conducted behind closed doors. This does not fall under the "real estate matters" provision of closed meetings in the Sunshine Law. In addition, Cozad had already discussed such development in an open P&Z meeting. Why the secrecy now?
Again, just more evidence that Purzner has not even a passing interest in upholding or understanding Sunshine Law. At this point, I am not even sure any ORTian could spell Sunshine Law.

Purzner's ridiculous and childish postings on her website are hurting her more than helping, but she is too stupid (and I mean stupid) to realize that. In today's Localite, she placed an ad for her personal website, for people to go see and "decide for yourself". Decide what exactly? That Purzner is a nut case?
Mr. Schneider posted a message in the Localite. I'm glad he spoke out, without lying and name calling, like Owensby, Knode and Purzner do. Mr. Schneider did not lower himself to the level of the ORT. Kudos for Mike Schneider :-)
Go to the mayors website scroll down to updated 9/29/06, read until you get to a line that reads "to the man want you and your checkbook to know your personal trash services are about to RISE IN COST OVER 10% this coming New Years Day.
Needless to say this is incorrect. I not only called Allied (636) 947-5959 I also called my councilman & city hall. Yes there will be an increase this coming year but it is part of the contract that was signed back in 2005 and it is NOT for over 10%. On the average it will raise your trash bill by $1.12 per month or $13.44 per year with retaining all of the benefits we have now. The contract with Allied does not expire until until 2008.

The contract between Allied Waste and City of Overland also had a clause that either party could walk away from the contract on very simple grounds.
I'd appreciate that, if I'm wrong, somebody call somebody knowledgeable and learn the facts.
As to Wild Acres: selling one's principal assets is not wise financial policy.

Mayor con Purzner also mentions the Pubic region, as truth or consequences pointed out. And low and behold she has O'Connell's pubic region on her mind. "Hot burning love" "pubic" "men in love" uh....uh......Purzner the Perv Website Extraordinaire!
I must admit I missed the "pubic" comment when I first read her piece on the "public apology" rant Purzner posted. But low and behold "PUBIC" is posted as plain as day. Thank you Truth or Consequences for pointing that out.
