Suzy and the Sunshine Law, part 2
The following came across my desk today. Good timing, considering today is the follow-up hearing for the Sunshine Law trial. I encourage everyone to test their knowledge. Perhaps, we should make taking the quiz mandatory for all city council members.
Nixon encourages both citizens and public officials to take online quiz to test their knowledge of the Sunshine Law
A citizen wants to tape record the open portion of a city council meeting. Can the city council say no recording is allowed? That's one of the questions posed in an online quiz designed to educate Missouri's public officials and its citizens about the state Open Meetings and Records Law, popularly known as the Sunshine Law. Attorney General Jay Nixon launched the quiz today on his Web site, www.ago.mo.gov.

That quiz is so much easier the second time!
So what happened at the courthouse in Clayton today????
My first time at the quiz I got eight correct out of 11. I hope we see much, much more of the same.
This is what I heard from someone in attendance. If anyone needs to correct or clarify, please do so:
There was nothing resolved today. The lawyer has to provide some sort of summary to bring back to the court in December.
What the summary is for or deals with is beyond me.
Any ideas?
