In honor of our illustrious scribe Guy Fawkes I figured I'd commemerate the 5th of November...
Remember, remember the fifth of November,
Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,'twas his intent
to blow up the King and the Parliament.
Revolution has a long history, some peaceful, some violent. I think the person who should be the most thankful on this 5th of November, also known in England as Guy Fawkes day, is our honorable mayor. She should be thankful that the citizenry is working within the framework of the constitution to redress our grievances with the government and not simply rolling kegs of blackpowder into the basement of city hall...

Did everyone check their mail today, the lastest round of BS has hit the boxes in the form of a small white card.
Look for an interview with Herron tonight on channel 4 and possibly an article in the post tomorrow.

Go back and check the dates the hall was rented and a contract was signed before the mayor but out her no more renting halls for the recall fund raisers.
News flash to any and all Overland employees that support the mayor.
A staunch mayor supporter, a city inspector with 15 plus years employment was fired last week. I believe his name is Maury.
Beware to all of those who support the mayor, she will fire you in a heart beat.
Just found out that Courtney lives with her mother and is on disability.
Does anyone know what her disability is? She can drive, knows how to work a camera, cell phone and most of all knows how to hang around the wrong people.
Why are we paying for her with our tax dollars.
Just a thought Courtney, quit hanging around a bunch of senior citizens, get a life.
It was reported that she was cruising the polls yesterday and snapping photos of COGG workers. How pathetic.
Big old Wanda was seen cruising the polls also. God knows she couldn't walk.
The mayor and council held a meeting on Monday night regarding her pending court date on 11/20, no decision could be reached. They were to meet on Tues. night her side cancelled the meeting.
Channel 4 tried to interview her on Monday regarding the bogus post cards, she was sick.
Turns out she didn't have walking pneumonia, she had driving phneumonia, she was seen at the polls at the Com. Ctr.
Try to catch channel 2 tomorrow morning. The mentioned Overland in their 5 o'clock news cast.
Channel 2 news is going to interview Purzner regarding the recall.

I agree that Overland is riddled with the results of local apathy, indecision and inactivity.
On the other hand, I'm confident that Overland residents have tremendous capacity to adjust and grow to meet our common challenge.
Will we change our brains overnight? We didn't get this way overnight, so we ought to plan for a long recovery.
Knowing our weaknesses and needs is a first step, but an important one.
Tom was Overland's dog catcher, for lack of a better term. Tom was hired away by Chesterfield. A "Brown appointee"? He lives on mayor purzner's block.
Overland already has a code enforcement worker, John, whose job involves writing up weed violations or following up on abandoned cars.

Channel 2's report this morning promised an "interview" with purzner. It was woefully NOT news. Purzner was shown stating that there were about ten people against her, a quote she made very early on. Much of the footage was of meetings held in City Hall. Duuuhhh.
I see Roland Lettner's photo made the front page of yesterday's Journal.

All I can say about the Fox 2, Purzner "the lying" RN, interview is: Is she mental?

I'd like to know where she picked up all the votes from. Last I heard she got what 1115. Today on channel 2 she had 2000. She is nuts.
Why did channel 2 even interview her. They did not ask her sh....t.
She got 1115 votes and over 3800 have signed a recall to oust her.
