Mark Brown recall story. I for one am considering working very hard for Tu Wong's reelection in St. Charles. I just fear that if he is recalled, this half-witted (or should that be dim-witted) turd will be back in the Overland punchbowl.

Mark "Downstown" Brown will face the voters in April, 2007. Boy that sure could be a busy month for the Funky Bunch.

The recall is great stuff EJ, but I like stories with really big price tags. That is going to leave a mark.

Special meeting scheduled for tomorrow. If Mayor Queeg called for the meeting, I can only imagine what she has planned. Is one of the opposing alderman on vacation or something? Long weekend? Will Mayor Queeg attempt to have airport shut-down to keep the aldermanic attendence to a minimum.

Would anyone like to suggest what dimestore, student council, ham and egger, ameteur move designed to get four into three that Mayor Queeg has cooked up for the residents.

A little advice for Mayor Queeg's opponents, you may want to consider walking to the Council meeting? I wouldn't attempt operating motor vehicle under any circumstance.

Walk with plenty of witnesses. Also , do not answer your door during the day and stay away from open windows.

I would also seriously consider hiring a "stunt double" to run-cover as you attempt to enter City Hall.

I am available if any of our representatives would like a ride to City Hall. Drop me a line and the Gravy Boat is on the way. I am always here to help.

Oh sorry MythBuster, I forgot to add that Mayor Queeg also runs a diploma mill.

With the end of the school year passing, demand for Mayor Queeg's "Shady Sheepskins" spikes, thus the extra time haning out down a the Quickie Mart.

The following is an advertisement:

Ann's Shady Sheepskins come in BA, BS, BSBA and MS. This year they have added new degrees including the much anticipated JD. But wait shoppers, don't forget to pick yourself up the Shady Sheepskin that started it all.....The RN....now only $10.95, embossing extra.

Not only do you get to enjoy perpetrating some serious jive on your supporters,...... even your parents will think you went to college when they see your handsome Shady Sheepskin hanging on the office wall.

Gravy

Great link. I saw that story and I just love one quote:

"We've been operating under the assumption that basically it was a no-brainer," Mills said.

Councilman Mark Brown, Ward 3, opposed the plat because of concerns the condo owners would rent out the condos, which Brown claimed could cause a deterioration of the property."

This quote is entertaining for two reasons. First, it is a "no-brainer" which is why the guy with "no-brain" is making the decision. Secondly, the irony in Tu-Wong protecting the public from "renters" is epic. I wish I had a dime for every run down two bedroom rented out by Tu-Wong and Karam Abdul Jabbar.

Also, I love Gravy's diploma mill theory. I will only add this tagline to the advertisement "Getting elected has never been so easy".
