Going out of business... 146 and counting
That's right I'm going out of business. They have threatened to contact blogger.com and have me shut down. Yeah right. In their dreams. They couldn't do that if they wanted to. They have nothing against me.
So on to business.
The fund raising barbecue has been pushed back, there was discussion about it happening in early June. But, there would not have been sufficient time to get donations and secure permits. So we are now shooting for late June early July. This will be a fund raising party for the recall effort, not for the recount. If anyone has been in contact with anyone working towards this let me know so we can combine efforts. Some people I have talked to suggested calling the group Good Governance for Overland.
Next up on the agenda...
unsubstantiated rumor department... It has been reported that Friday a paycheck was not cut for the chief of police. In keeping with the assertion that the chief is suspended Mayor Prisoner (I'm just saving spellcheck the time) refused to sign his paycheck for his services. If anyone can confirm this please do.
Next up...
tonight's meeting
rumor has it that the council chambers will be filled by 4:30 PM and then after that they will deny access to anyone else citing fire code and maximum occupancy. I contacted the FBI and they stated that this was not a federal matter so they could not investigate (even though it is a civil rights violation it's not the kind of civil rights they investigate) I contacted the ACLU and they told me that since they are limited on resources they could not take action prior to the mayor locking us out, so I will call tomorrow and file a complaint after I have been locked out. I urge you to do this also.
ACLU complaint page
and sadly I have not been contacted by the Missouri AG's office in response to the e-mail I sent. If anyone has received a response please repost it here. I am curious as to their response.
So I will see you there tonight, bring your signs so that when we are locked out we can fill the front lawn of city hall and show St Louis what is going on.

I spoke with city hall today via phone, and they stated that the meeting would be held in the community center.
The mayor is still claiming City Hall/council chambers.
Will there also be two council meetings in addition to our two versions of reality?
I have called the prosecuting attorny's office. Per their webpage they handle open meeting violations in the county.
http://www.co.st-louis.mo.us/pa/electnlaw.html
I called and the two lawyers who handle this type of thing are out. One is in court, so I left a voicemail. The other won't be in today. I am afraid we may be too late for TRO to force the meeting at Comm Center. However, we may be able to do something expo facto (after we are locked out tonight).
Still, I ask: Why is the mayor afraid to face the public?
She is afraid and does not feel obligation to face the public because she doesn't represent the public. She represents special interests.
I wonder if she is going to use a "short bus" to gather her supporters, familar environment and all......
the scoop congratulated me on my snappy comebacks to comments on the other site. I cannot take full credit for my abilities in this category. I learned this skill (as my mom said) wasting my afternoons with my nose buried in that most subversive of magazine "MAD" in particular the writings of one Al Jaffee and his strip snappy answers to stupid questions. For those of you who want to learn this ability I will include a link to amazon.com so you can learn from the master and make you own snappy answers to stupid questions.

I have not received a response from the Attorney General's office either.
I say, let Poser cook her own goose. She is an incompetent person. Obviously she can't read or comprehend simple ordinances.
I would like to know if there are any people that voted for Ann Poser RN, that are sorry they did?
Riddle court is off of Page near where the Overland Garage is located, behing the auto parts store in the 9500 block.
Guy Fawkes,
Can you post those properties on the Overlandchat.com to, ONCE AGAIN, infrom Sweetpickles? I'm afraid SP is left in the dark by her "friends". She also conveniently did not remember the RN fiasco, of her close friend Nurse Poser, RN.
Guy and New Girl,
I posted that before I read New Girl's post. So, there is no reason to duplicate it. Apolgoies, if I stepped on anyone's toes.
Suzyjax, Thank you. Like they say, great minds think alike...hee hee.
Thanks for noticing. All in a day's work.
Speaking for myself, I have a lifetime of alternative Overland nomenclature built up in a "comedic resevior" which I draw upon.
I probably speak for us all when I say that given our current leadership in Overland, the material kind of writes itself if you know whatI saying. Self-Evident.
Isn't it about time we organized a sit-in at the Mayor's office. You know like University of Wisconsin style. Peaceful resistance. We have to have an Overland Ghandi to show us the way to social change through non-violence.
"I ain't gonna work on Annie's farm no more.
No, I ain't gonna work on Annies's farm no more......"
Scoop forgot my favorite for the former city public works director...
Whenever my dad would get a weed notice or paint notice he would say great another note from Charles Ka-Ram-it up his A$$.
Guy Fawkes,
Sweetpickles posted the following, any merit to this?

Nice try,
Dumbpickles doesn't know the difference between personal property and real estate.
Follow-up: If you are a renter (of MB or any other owner) you still claim your personal property for where you live.
Real Estate records shows who really owns the land. Or, those who make the $$$ on any development.
Guy, I cut and pasted directly from the site. I included the locator IDs.
Her response: "You will try to confuse anything to make it look like you are not wrong".
No, she's just easily confused which makes it hard for her to see we are right.
This just in on Channel 4 news: Dumbpickles head exploded as she tried to comprehend the difference between real estate and personal property.
Sweaty Pickle had a real gotcha moment there didn't she. She is kind of like Ben Mattlock's side-kick.
She didn't bother to take the time to understand the information in front of her. How can they administer the city when they wouldn't know a locator number if it came up and bit em in the arse?
Hilarious.
"Give a monkey half-a-brain and she will think she owns the universe"
Hey, Sweaty. If you want to know what property Marky Mark owns in Overland, why don't you simply ask him. If you can tear him away from his charity work, I am certain he will give you a "good faith" answer.
Not to be redundent but with Sweaty Pickle around, the material just writes itself.
EVERYONE
don't be too hard for sweatypickles afterall she has proven time and time again that she has the reading comprehension of a 6 year old. If you want her to understand that you have to use monosyllabic words you can't go beyond
See skidMark, skidmark owns 2 houses
See Trang, Trang needs a place to live.
See Trang rent from skidMark.
See Trang drive, Trang owns a car.
See Skidmark drive, skidmark owns a car
SeeSt Louis county, St Louis county collects tax for two house and one car from skidmark.
See Trang he pays tax on one car but not on the house, skidmark paid the tax on the house.
Chapter 2 mayors as puppets a fun with strings story...
Treasurer? When did that come up?
I have heard from several reliable PTA sources she shouldn't be trusted with $$$
News Flash:
Viceroy Purzner has announced that tonight's council meeting will be moved from Janitor Closet to her Stratus Sedan. Meeting starts rolling at 6:00 p.m.
Gravy Train, I have no problem with "mobil meetings". I just wish she would follow the law and have it on a bi-state bus in order to accomodate the expected attendance. :)
