First housekeeping...
last night when I read Jefferson comments I was this close to setting the comments to moderated so I could edit all of the posts. But then I thought why not just let them keep hanging themselves and looking silly. Jefferson doesn't know how to do math. 1115+1111+964=3190 not less then 2800. So if you are going to come on here and make snide comments about me getting facts wrong you better at least know how to do addition. Also he sniped at me for using the wrong name, all I have to say in response to that is STEVE REDMAN... C'mon when I screwed up everyone knew who I was talking about and I wasn't appointing anyone city attorney.
So on to last night.
While Mary Beth was announcing that she was filing her petition for a recount the Brownies showed up in front of the community center to support Poser. Funny thing about their group only 3 (three) of the people in their group were Overland residents.
The meeting was a non-meeting as Poser and the ORT failed to appear. I spoke with city clerk Linda Downs and she confirmed that none of the absent members had been in contact with city hall and therefore were unexcused from the meeting.
There were close to 600 people in attendance and less the 20 of them were Ann supporters. CA Herman explained that to do a recall we need 2500 signatures. With over 500 people who were against Ann in attendance last night that means each person has to sign a petition and get 4 signatures each and we would have the required signatures to do this.
And can anyone provide information on who Piss pot Pete is? I know there is rumor that it is Fetch but I would like to know since he pair for that sign that violated MO election law.
