Today's Reading Assignments
Gather round kiddies, cause we have a heavy reading load for today.
First, up, the wonderful Norm Parrish reports in today's Post that Queen Ann will have some legislation in her honor is his article titled "Purzner's nursing claims leads to proposed state measure". It can found online, here (Please do not post the ENTRIE article here).
One can only assume that the state legislature can start working on other legislation befitting Overland's Year of Terror. Perhaps, something about stiffer penalties for knowlingly and wantingly violating open government laws.
Your assignment: What other legilsation can be created to assure no other Missourian has to live through a Queen Ann?
Next reading assignment is a related reading in the vein of false occupations---the latest Owensby mailing. It begins with his claims of being a teacher, but is so full of falsehoods that it will eventually require it's own post. However, I have scanned this and posted it online here.

I just read the article in today’s Post Dispatch Metro section page 10A. Now these ignorant, Purzner the lying RN, supporters can put this issue to rest. Purzner LIED about being a Nurse, Purzner LIED about having a degree from Maryville University, and Purzner continues to LIE and LIE and LIE.
If I said this once, I will say it a thousand times, if somebody lies about something as profound as being a nurse; what else will they lie about? Why would anybody lie about their credentials? The funny thing about this is, Purzner and Donna Dill lie about things that can easily be checked. You can check online in any state of the Union who is or isn’t or was a nurse. You can check with Universities and Colleges if somebody claims to have attended them. THESE ARE DANGEROUS AND PROFOUND LIES.
So I see Keller with the IQ higher than Einstein (not) has an arrest record? A checkered past? Is it a DWI arrest like the Karr’s? Thank you for the information, Truth or Consequenses.

Never met the man. That is because there is not a hate group and Mr. Owensby is truly a sad individual.
It would be nice if he stopped harassing elderly residents and just moved wherever Ann is going or out with their leader across the river. People are truly tired of him. He is definatly worried, as they all are. It will all be over soon!
I do not know about the other women out there but my wife is not jealous of someone who looks like a Sharpi (don't know it that's right)

C3, I noted the same thing. I thought perhaps Owensby is knowingly using the wrong name as some backwards way of covering his butt.
Where is the senior citizen outrage? How dare Owensby call citizens of our fair city "old biddies"?!
I can only assume that winobluegoat will withdraw any previous support of Owensby. After all, she was so up in arms when another candidate simply stated "it was t ime for a new generation"
Note for the simple minded: This again is written tongue-in-cheeck but serves as an effective reminder of the two-faced nature of some folks

My sentiments exactly. I'll bet the female Senior Citizens of Overland will be outraged at Owensby refering to them as "gruesome gossiping old biddies". He shot himself in the foot.
Owensby thinks he know math and science but doesn't know squat about marketing. He targets his mailing at senior citizens but then insults them in the same mailing.
Only those who have gone to the Ann Purzner School of Grammer would think that using ones real name is a personal attack. Ann seems to claim something similar when a citizen voices disappointment about a specific council members actions (that they have done in an official capacity).
Using your real name would only be considered a personal attack by those who are disingenous and the deceivers. I proudly stand behind my name with what I post--too bad they can't say the same.

Donna Dill honest? LOL that is the best one to date. Sweetpickles insisted, Purzner the lying RN, had a Diploma (degree) from Maryville. Yeah real honesty there Sweetpickles. Just like you lied about Karr getting her invitation handed to her 2 hours before an event. When Karr RSVP'd two weeks in advance that she would not be there...LOL The liar list of Sweetpickles goes on and on and on. Just like Purzner and Owensby continue to LIE, AND LIE AND LIE AND LIE........Or maybe she is trying to convince herself of something she is lacking.

EEEEgaaaaaaaaaads, where does one start with such a foolish statement. To lie about being an RN is dangerous and to LIE about having a BS degree from Maryville is also a dangerous LIE. Now she thinks because some politicians lie that it's ok to do so, and they should be exempt from having to tell the truth. This explains why the ORT and their blind followers are LIARS. And darn right stupid to boot.
You know if the Mayor really wanted the citizen's of Overland to take her seriously she would have never sent out a piece of literature with cartoons on it.
The position of a Mayor is one of authority and honor. Sadly, even in her last waking moments as Mayor, Ann has shown that she is unable to exemplify any characteristics of a leader.
Perhaps, most profoundly, Ann's legacy will be that of a cooky, old, ecentric, woman who lied her way into office, and once in office could not deliver on her promises.
To some she appeared to be a leader, to others a nice lady, to others their friend. In the end, Ann, will go down as a woman, who when given the opportunity to lead our community instead pissed it all away.
There is a compromise here though. Why allow yourself to go down in defeat on Tuesday? As your final act of Mayor I suggest a simple act, an act you can do alone in the privacy of your own office. Ann go to the city hall get out your letterhead out and write a resignation letter.
Ann could spare herself the defeat. Actually she could hold her head up high and realize that the final chapter of her political career was of her own control and no others.

Can anyone tell me why Carol "Gov't Trough" Sparks keeps calling me a bigot?
There are plenty of things to call me but why does she keep using a bigotry angle? And why won't she provide any evidence or accounts of me acting, writing or promoting bigotry? Easy, they don't exist.
Is it really the type of thing we want to see from our Civil Defense Coordinator? Especially in combination with multiple-personality disorder Carol Sparks demonstrates daily.
I can imagine her talking with FEMA.

I looked at the roster of the folks lining-up to get their place at Uncle Sugar's Homeland Security Bosom.
They all seem well meaning, but will anyone really be safer in times of emergency with Carol Sparks at the helm?
Overland had to take this position away from Carol in the past and give it to someone with the proper credentials for such a position, Chief Herron. He is qualified to hold such a title as opposed to Carol Sparks. She can falsify credentials under the guidance of her mentors Coach Blowensme and Mayor Purzner.
Can anyone imagine Carol Sparks driving a jeep around town, wearing a pith helmet, kaki Bermuda shorts, maybe gouchos, inflatable life preserver, knee-high black socks, black wing-tips, riding crop, monocle, government cash bulging from her pockets, frozen pizzas loaded in the back, telling everyone to turn out their lights and pull down their window shades so that Tojo doesn't get the better of St. Louis.

I am amazed the Mayor Purzner, who fully denied any association with Overland Watch would republish their cartoon as her own. Are we to think she lied when she stated she knew nothing about who/how it was published?! (Again, tongue-in-check folks, we KNOW she lied!).

This tactic is often used in politics. If they call someone a name enough times, the public starts assuming its true. However, this will not work with the ORT since every word they speak tends and trends toward escalating falsehood.

Has anybody checked out Dick the Hick's website? It's funny as all hell. He has this spooky music playing in the background as his edited version of March 26th Council Meeting plays. He also accuses a Police Officer of blocking his camera on purpose. The Officer was standing there at the ready to pepper spray Owensby who was going mental. As if an Officer would worry about some goofy video camera when trying to control Owensby’s rabid behavior. I was laughing at the text Dick the Hick imposed into the video trying to explain (lie about) what's going on, it's hysterical.

Dody may be a no good so and so, but he does not control the State Board of Nursing or the Post Dispatch. I didn't witness Dody screaming and running after Owenswig, but many have. For Dody to pull that stunt, puts him in the same league as the ORT. Dody certainly goofed himself on that maneuver. As much as we would all love to biotch slap Owensby, Dody should have controlled himself.
Purzner LIED about being a nurse and she LIED about attending and receiving a degree from Maryville University. The only conspiracy is Purzner's habitual lying.

A big thank you to Danny for proving that Dill, once again, is a liar. It's nice that they are doing our jobs for us.
How thrilling to hear that the penalty for endangering patient lives by false claims to having a nursing education and license will be a felony rather than a mere class B misdemeanor. If this had come sooner, it would have saved Overland a horrible year. A convicted felon cannot run for public office. Ann is done.
Seen Around Town! Mark Brown in line at the post office, clutching a stack of the latest toxic ORT slanderous claims which of course bear his bulk mailing permit, 1402 as did the slimy and anonymous Overland Watch. Doesn't the Postmaster have any interest in how this permit is misused? Feel free to inquire.
Also, the nuisance or threatening calls that show up in caller ID as from "Mark Browns Quick Print Shop" seems to be a gross misuse of a business phone that the phone company might be interested in removing from the premises. Anyone got a record on their machine? We need evidence. Be alert and report to the phone company ASAP.
Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, the definition of science is "knowledge attained through study or practice," or "knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, esp. as obtained and tested through scientific method [and] concerned with the physical world."
What does that really mean? Science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge.
You would think a "Science Teacher" would have a better understand of what science is about.
