itemized V. flat rate 135 and counting

The latest thing to get a bee in teh bonnet of the ORT is getting an itemized bill from the Bob Herman. they keep claiming that the city did not get an itemized bill from Mr Herman for his services. However iof you rewind the tape you will hear Owensby (over the strenous objection of his wig) reading teh itemized bill from Herman. The bill list specific times and dates of research and times and dates of court appearances. That is what an itemized bill is. What more does the ORT want a list of which books Herman looked in (or more appropo which books his paralegal looked in) and who he interviewed?

Next item...
the mayors message in the localite.
Someone in the ORT is pissed today. They have to be. Because last night half of Overland turned to the mayors message read it reread it and scratched their head and said "what the hell is she talking about?" Someone was supposed to catch that message and proof it before it went out to the public. but it wasn't and the public got to read the way the mayor is thinking. One frind of mine who works in the mental health field said she is showing signs of being on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I am truly concerned about our mayor and the toll that the bad adviceshe has been given is taking on her.

Hard to tell if it is a nervous break down without a pre-post experimental design. How do we know there has been a change without an ax-ante observation.

I rarely feel sorry for what happens to a person who stares into the sun after they have been warned repeatedly to not stare into the sun.

Resign!

John,
I posted something in regard to Ann's behavior in the overlandchat. There really is something wrong. The following is a copy of what I posted on the overlandchat:

I watched the meeting last night too. It appeared that Ann had know idea how to conduct business, she seems very confused. I seriously wonder if there is something wrong with Ann. I am not saying this to be mean, but it seems like dementia is setting in or something. Does anybody else notice that Ann doesn't seem to be all there?

Boy, I would not be surprised. Matter-of-fact, thought such a thing might happen after the first attempt at a council meeting after her questionable swearing in at Clayton courthouse. She had no control and looked like a deer in the headlights.

The ORT Cloud

This region located beyond the orbit of the most distant planets is dominated by aggressive, randomly colliding, high-speed comets emitting long, hazardous trails of exhaust, debris, and ice.

Once a great while, one of these comets (alderman) smashes into a planet (city council), as a comet did to Jupiter in 1996. Collision with ORT Cloud object also responsible for most recent mass exinction on Earth 65 million years ago.

Most recent ORT impact is currently occuring in the City of Overland, Missouri. The impact has been catastrophic on the residence. Complete dmage estimates will not be available for years.

From the Mayor’s Desk……….

Many issues are being strongly felt in Overland. (I am personally not feeling any issues as it is impossible to physically or grammatically “feel an issue”.) I would like to (but not going to) ask that everyone join me in taking three deep breaths and work for a positive solution to our differences. (Maybe this is a Brownian Dispute Resolution technique. Take three deep breaths, shut-up and do what I say). The residents have elected a Mayor and Councilmen from each Ward to represent their interest and act upon City matters. (My main interest is for my elected leaders, especially the Mayor, to respect the rules and institutions of the City and for once in her tenure to act in good faith for the City and not the foreign interests she represents.)

With such division (created solely by my consciously illegal attempt to circumvent the City Charter and Ordinances) between our elected officials, a negative impact is imposed on our City. (Imposed?) I would hope (but I am not going to) that we can put our differences aside (through your submission) in order to bring the City in a more productive mode. (I don’t even know what that means. I can’t make a joke about something that doesn’t make sense.) This is an attempt (what is an attempt?) to bring our governed City in order (WtF?) and conduct business in a positive and progressive manner. Our residents, businesses, employers and Mark deserve better.

I extend (extend what?) and ask the Council’s cooperation (submission) to open communication, respectful behavior to one another and courteous dialogue in submitting to my irrational decisions. My hope (not a pledge but just a hope) is this will help bring my order with delusions for the future.

No apology.

No contrition.

No Olive Branch.

No submission.

Mayor, show us you are serious by offering something to us besides your words. Talk is especially cheap at this point. A very simple example of giving would be holding meetings in the Community Center as an act of good faith towards those who have been shut-out of meetings. She could apologize for not holding meeting in Com Center and say she wants to hear from all residents.

She could renounce Mark Brown and assure the Community he will no longer be involved in her administration. She could admit she took bad advice and tell us who gave said advice and why they will never be involved with the City again.

No quarter has been asked by our Mayor.
Therefore, no quarter will be given.

I finally received my Localite yesterday. The font used for the message made it hard to read. When you add in that the words themselves made little sense then the only "message" we can get is that she is an idiot.

Suzyjax,
That font used in the Mayor's message was hiddeous, to say the least. The message was just gobbley gooke. Did we really expect more? Not I.
