I'm Just a Company Man, part 2
I hate to leave a previous point just dangling. So, this post is a follow-up to our previous post, “I’m Just a Company Man”
As stated previously, Schneider had claimed that any vehicles in question were owned by the Lakewood Party Supplies. However, the hearing yesterday revealed that the primary vehicle being considered were jointly owned by Lakewood and Michael T Schneider. Now, the government doesn’t consider a corporation legally different than an individual. So, this registration wouldn’t be much different if the vehicle was jointly owned by Schneider and his cousin Mary Lou.
Since there was joint ownership, there was joint liability. Thus, the collector of revenue can go after either party.
Now, why wouldn’t the county go after Lakewood? Of course, this is because it no longer exists. According to my check with the Minnesota Secretary of State (where the company was incorporated), Lakewood has not filed any of the required corporate paperwork since 2004.
This just further raises the question on why the vehicles were not licensed here until 2006. The lawyer provided documentation that the vehicle was garaged and primarily used in the State of Missouri since 2005.
Thus the plaintiff’s lawyer fully proved that Schneider is rightly and fully responsible for any back taxes. Those taxes had not been paid. Schneider should be removed from the ballot.

I thought I had just read the 2 headed snake had just died, looks like it's alive & while in Overland
One Layer is a soothe sayer and quite funny.
From One Layer:
Forget who's with whom & the names and look at just the candidates themselves.
1. Stay at home grandma who watches kids, admits to only going to 2 meetings. Elected 2 months ago, never been involved with politics before, now running for mayor.
2. Man gone 20 yrs from Overland, salesman, rec'd waiver on taxes, didn't pay, then protested when paying, on council 1 yr., maybe shouldn't have been at all, did nothing to help or promote the city during the past yr.
3. Life long resident, current & ex-council person, entire education geared toward economic developement & growth, has all the right contacts. Affilated with no interest groups.
If you did not know their names or who they were affilated with who would you vote for honestly.

Realize also by him pay his 2006 Personal Property Tax, that also included penalties and interest.
The penalty is for not paying it on time, thus he admits he was in arears of his taxes.
He loves to brag about how much money he made in his selling of Tupperware, i.2 million to 1.8 million according to his last workshop. It should be within his realm to figure out taxes.
"Paid under Protest", that sounds like something out of the Militia Camps, the ones who don't believe in taxes.
Makes me wonder if his Garage Sale of Tupperware he had left required that he collect Sales Tax?
Racer X:
How dare you thwart our King. The King of "Put One Over The Land"
Don't you know we mere peasants must give our royalites to the King to support his Kingdom.
Protest your taxes that is within the realm of Royalty sir. You peasants complain of your trash service, of your paltry roads, of your lack of service and how hard it is to make by working three jobs, and paying your bills.
Damn you peasant fools you will never understand what it is like to be the King of Overland and to not have to pay taxes.
All bow and kneel to the King for he is worthy of your praises and your taxes. For he will use your taxes wisely while avoiding paying his.
The peasants fools know no better.
T or C,
I'm just tired of all the chiefs & us Indians left to clean up their crap.
I hope no one forgets, Munsch. Brown & Karam, sorry Sweety you too have all moved out & left us Indians to pick-up the pieces you've left.
For once before you vote, think of what's best for you, your home & community, it's yours not theirs. And not what's best for all those that have used Overland then when done with left, leaving us holding the bag.
Forget them & put yourself first for once.
One Layer I understand completely what you are saying and I agree we are left holding the bag. I'm signing off now because I have go to work. I have two jobs to stay a float, provide for our family, pay the bills and of course to pay our share of taxes.
Article in the post today, I think sect. D under Law & Order, regarding the trial
