131 and counting and stalking revisited

I am alive and well, I have not been drug off to a re-education camp for political indoctrination. It's just been really quiet lately. On the other site there is just a lot of he said she said he is worse then she is going on. I don't find that senseless accusations and baseless rumors move debate forward.
But I do have a list of things I want to know:
1. Are we going to have a fourth of July celebration?
2. Is the city going to negotiate with some other city for pool usage?
(Can I recommend Clayton this year instead of Woodson Terrace I like a pool with lap swim lanes)
3. Has anyone done any kind of study as to what it would take to rebuild/ repair legion?

And revisiting an old subject...
A friend of mine who works for the FBI is in town visiting family. While he was over at my house I showed him this site and asked if there was anything to Brownie Pickles threat. He stated that since the supposed statement of stalking was made on the net, it would have been turned over to the FBI. He then told me that Brownie Pickles would be politely asked to leave and not waste the FBI's time. If she pushed it she would be charged with filing a false report. He told me that in no way would the statement be construed as stalking by an agent. So Check and Mate.

The quiet, could be the calm before the storm.
As for the items you listed, I wouldn't hold my breath for answers. I think the Mayor is busy, still trying to figure out who she is ( degree wise ), before she can move forward on those issues.

It could just be stress, confusion and teen angst. Its tough for any of us to consider what we want to be when we grow up or in what discipline we hope to major. Most of us have years to plan and decide our career paths. Imagine the pressure, on a daily basis, having to decide what profession you will "profess" to be that day. I am a nurse, no I'm the mayor, no--Mr. Herman I'm a lawyer.......

By the way, as for what is ailing Ann, I've logged in countless hours of watching past Overland meetings, some live-- some on cable. After careful reflection, I've determined that it's stupidity. She was small-minded 10 years ago, she is small-minded now. Its not as though she suddenly became stupid when she was elected mayor.

Yes, Lucky, but the "stupidity" was limited to the 3rd ward. It wasn't a city-wide assult, until now.

Some talk on the other board regarding Yard Signs, but that was specifically on renters rights. It made me wonder if we could get "Recall the Mayor" signs done (obviously not at Marky-Marks). They could even be sold as a fundraiser for the recall effort.

Any thoughts?

Suzyjax,
I think the recall yard signs are a great idea. But I think it has to wait until October or November.
I wonder how many homes that have the recall signs in their yard will be vandalized or bogus citations issued against the homeowners.
But I say FEAR NOT !!!!!

NGIT, these are legitimate issues/concerns. However, Purzner ruined what little good will she had with the employees with her shenanigans. Especially when she threatened to fire employees for setting up the council meeting at the community center. And, from what I understand, she went around city hall one day saying "You're fired! ----- Oh, just practicing."

And, without employees to write the citations....
