The Lone Shoveler.
I know of a real nice way to recognize "good deeds". Awarding a person with a service pin for good service is a nice cheap and easy way to say "atta-boy".
Of course I rarely give a service pin to someone who is engaged in normal everyday works. I don't know when shoveling someone's driveway or delivering a few squares in your Cirius became worthy of a medal or even high-praise for that matter. But for folks who don't really do much for the broader community, I guess seeing them doing a favor is a "big deal".
I am sure Kenny Blowensme had plenty of free-time on his hands. What else would he have to do during normal business hours? Work? Talk to his "students"? Scan his collection of vintage Hustlers into digital form?
I do have one question for the Fine Whining Goat in regard to her high praise of Kenny, are you sure that was snow that he was shoveling?

She claims to hang out at the VFW and nobody there knows who the hell she/he/it (Goat) is. Goat claims to print out stuff from OV chat and this blog to entertain the troops. WTF??? Yes, Ghostbuster, people ARE out of their gull darn minds. Notice they all support Purzner the lying RN and the ORT clowns?
The only thing Owensby will be shoveling is Purzner off the ground after she loses in April.

In response to the article on weather or not the two boys that fell through the ice would have been rescued sooner had Overland had a Park Ranger. I do not believe they would have been rescued any sooner due to the fact that Overland nor the Community Fire District has the proper equipment to affect this type of rescue, there are only a handful of Districts that do. The possibility does exist however, that simply by their presents a Ranger could have prevented the event in the first place but that would not be a guarantee. The only way those boys could have been rescued any sooner would have been for the initial First Responders on the scene to have had the proper equipment and training or for them to have called a closer Department that has the equipment.
Oh, what a wonder it is to be retired and crusing the streets of Overland in your DSN9, ever vigilant for the good works of the citizens (and the carpet baggers).

In response to the you know who. Yes Ann claimed to be a nurse during her campaign. As of today this still remains on her website.

You can't be a supervisor of nursing if you aren't a nurse.

They have no authority to make any purchase. And even if they did, there are far more important things that need to be addressed rather than wasting their time tonight.

Knowing them, I wouldn't be surprised if they view it as just another means to spread their usual propaganda/b.s./etc.
