In today's Post (bottom of page 3 of Metro, I believe), there is an article updating the status of the recently overturned campaign financing legislation. According to the article, the Missouri Ethics Commission has filed a brief with the Missouri Supreme Court requesting that they rule that all over-the-limit contributions received between January 1 and last Thursday be returned to the donors.
As we have stated before, MT Schneider received an in-kind donation from the company owned by the P&Z Committee chief that is ten times what are the now the legal caps. Does MT Schnieder see the writing is one the wall? Why doesn't he just act now and avoid the court order in the future?

He is probably waiting for a courtesy call from the court or a prosecuting attorney before doing the right honorable and ethical thing.
I bet if you went to dinner with him he would be the first to excuse himself from the table as the waiter approaches with the bill.
Has this made the journal yet? Schneider's arrogant attitude(or ignorance) of the the law just proves he can NOT be trusted. There is something $$$$$ in it for him or he wouldn't be running for Mayor. He can't be trusted.

I've seen everyone's reports that were submitted and there is NOTHING from Alberici at all, let alone for $10,000!
Matter-of-fact, MBC did not receive ANY donations that were above the old (and now new again) $325 cap.

That "misconception" article in the Journal was a joke, to say the least. They say they have guidelines for their LTE & comments, they don't allow personal attacks etc etc, yet those LTE's from the Schneider Cult Club were riddled with personal attacks against Mary Beth that were UNFOUNDED!! I submitted a comment in regard to the above, and of course they did not post it. I also submitted other comments last week and I was very courteous and held my comments within their guidelines and they were not posted. My only post that was published, was the one complaining about not posting my comments. Go figure.
The Journal will be tossed in the trash for now on or leave it to rot on the sidewalk like most other people do.

The Journal might be a little more lenient with comments when real names are on them. I have no idea if this is the case, but I haven't had a comment I sent, not be posted (though I did have one that took so long I thought it wasn't going to be posted).
That said, I would have preferred it if they printed my comment in response to the "frivolous" lawsuit letter than my comment about the "informed voter" letter.

I have seen the Journal post comments with "real names" and monikers. How is the Journal to know if one is using a real name or a phony one? I tried posting with my name and a moniker, neither got posted. Maybe I should have used John Smith :-)

It's a feature in blogger that you can create an account and then edit your profile each time with a different sign-on name. Kind of dumb for security purposes. But it is deceptive for sure.

That's exactly why i suggested to John Doe they put the review feature back in for the post. I was wondering how long it would take for this to happen.

You are hearing a twisted version of the story. Eedie had her Conlon signs stolen out of her yard, she was very upset and kicked a Schneider sign that was placed in a yard of an UN-OCCUPIED home. A Schneider supporter saw her do that and gave her a hard time and they bickered a bit. That is all there is. Of course this Schneider supporter is going to twist and turn the story around, liars do that. Eedie did NOT try to steal anybody’s signs at all. Give Eedie a call and speak with her about it.
I think we have bigger worries than a couple of people in a small squirmish.

Hey did anybody see the Schneider Ad in the Localite? Wow. That guy is pure ego. He is "influential". He has "unparalleled communication skills" It that guy gets in "It's Over for Overland".

Yes, I saw Schneider's ad. It is really sickening that he has to sell himself with egotistical nonsense. But like Schneider said...that is ALL he knows is sales. Snake oil tonic anyone?
Here is what I resent about Schneider's add his claim to be a union guy. He is a manager. As a TEAMSTER I resent this and besides the Unions have Endorsed Mary Beth Conlon. That speaks volumes.

Schneider's add is so vacuous that it is essentially meaningless. It is also a grammarians nightmare. If you were receive his add like a resume, you would have more questions than answers.
He doesn't even seem to know the difference between a goal and an action. Is "making the hard decisions" a goal?
I could continue to point-out illogical and incomplete nature of every one of his statements, but that is self-evident.
What really makes me laugh, and I did laugh, is the way Schneider describes himself with the "outstanding communication skills" type entry.
I am all for self-esteem, but this guy Schneider does not offer any humility. You would think Scheider cured cancer during Vietnam, invented double entry book-keeping while simultaneously becoming a business tycoon.
I still don't understand why the communities Senior Citizens want to wage war on my ward. Schneider says he is creating Ward Warriors for seniors.
Anyway that guy is a true empty suit and if he had any substance he wouldn't need to spend all of his outstanding community skills trying to convince you that he superhuman.

Gravy haven't posted for a while because I just like to read. However today I saw the famous Spydog hauling large Mike Schneider signs. The signs have a nice cheesy picture of Mike right dab in the middle. We all remember SPYDOG the one who drove the sign around with the moniker PISSPOTPETE for Ann last year.
How bout that for playing both sides. Here is my opinion if you have SPYDOG on your team you will do anything to get elected. When you lie down with dogs you get fleas.
When it comes to things being posted under someone else's name the easiest way to verify who posted it is to click the name and check the profile of the poster.
For example, when you click the name on post by the onelayer inposter it says the profile cannot be viewed. However, if you click name on the post by onelayer explaining that they did not post the above, you'll see onelayer's profile.
If you're one of the users here that do not have a viewable profile, than you might want to consider changing that and including a simple profile so that people can verify what came from you and what didn't.
There have been a lot of rumors flying around about Eedie Cumanale and the sign incident.
The day before this happened, she had spoken with a resident of the house that has the signs in question. She was surprised when that resident told her he didn't know how the signs got in his yard as noone asked him if it was OK.
The next morning, after finding that yet another sign had been stolen from her yard (who ever you are, good luck stealing the latest one), she went the the same house above, pulled the signs out of the ground and left them laying in the yard.
While doing this a resident, and apparently a COGG member saw her and stopped to chastise her.
This was silly, inappropriate and a case of poor judgement (if not temporary insanity) on the part of Councilperson Cumanale (as she will tell you herself). It shouldn't have happened, but at the same time, the world is not going to end because it did.
The rumor mill has suggested that she stole the signs, destroyed the signs, harassed and/or intimidated the owner of the home, etc. None of that is true.
Lastly, the gentleman she talked to was a renter at that home, so it is entirely possible that the Schneider campaign had permission to put the signs up from the actual property owner (though I think IMHO it's bad form to not discuss it with the people who live there as well).
Opps, I forgot to add that she did put the signs back up, moments after this originally happened.
