Schneider: "I don't know nothing 'bout birthin' no cities" (Debate)

I have a ton of notes from the debate to go through. However, this struck me as funny and I thought I would post this first.

In the opening comments, Schneider states "I know nothing but sales" and I immediately thought this includes that he does not know how to run a city. He then verifies my thoughts when he continues, saying "I know nothing about business operations. I think Overland needs to be run like a business." (5:35)

Well, if you don't know anything about business operations, why would you run a city via that method?

Note: On all debate posts that I make, the time in the red parenthesis is the time of the candidate statement on Sailor's video. In addition, all posts will have the 0711Debate label which will allow you to pull those posts out from all the other misc OVCC items.

Watched the video. Come on Overland you want to be intimidated? You want things to stay the same? You want to be a Ward Warrior?

By the way they are the Midland Valley and Dody Munsch Crew are doing one hell of a great Swift Boat job on Mary Beth the sick part is they really enjoy it.

Suzy,

I thought I'd heard him wrong, thanks for clearing that up.

Sink their boat & vote for MaryB.

Do you think the “grant fairy” Schneider talks about is the same fairy that declared his residency as February 2006 to the collector of revenue, to obtain a waiver and to try and get out of paying his taxes? Well the collector of revenue got hip to the fairy’s false declaration and slapped Schneider with taxes due along with penalties and interest. Too bad the Collector of Revenue didn’t find out this “fairy” lied until way after May 22nd, or Schneider would have been tossed off the ballot. Sigh…these damn technicalities of law.

Wake up Schneider, there are true grants out there to be had to help Overland. You just don’t know how to go about obtaining them so you called it “the grant fairy” in order to distract from the issue. Very sleazy comment he made, or should I say “cheesy”.

I was under the impression he had to pay the taxes, along with interest and penalties as well. However, I recently heard he successfully got them to waive the interest and penalties potion (why I am not sure). Can anyone confirm this one either way?
